3 Day Italy Weddingpalooza

Explore Florence Morning - 4pm

Hopefully, by Thursday June 20th you have made it to Florence. Maybe some people just arriving maybe some people have already seen Venice and Cinque Terre or other spots in Europe. Feel free to arrive a day or two early so you have plenty of time to see this magical city but wandering around for a morning until the shuttle comes will also be a blast and you can catch it Sunday morning as well . On Travel Ideas there is more information on Florence. Its one of my favorite cities in the world. 

 2- 4pm Shuttle to Venue in Tuscan Country Side 1 hour 20 minutes 

There will be a shuttle from Florence to Borgo Corsignano.  We will provide pricing for shuttles when we know more. We expect this to be cheap! You can also arrange your own ride or rent a car if you would like to have a car in the countryside. Italians drive on the right hand side of the road and the drive is pretty easy but the first ten minutes getting out of Florence can be kind of stressful. We've done it before and once you are out of florence its easy, so if you would like a car dont hesitate! The train also goes to a town about thirty-five minutes from the venue. So we might possibly arrange shuttles to and from the train stop of Arrezo for people who take the train.  Florence to Arrezo is only 30 minutes by train, we will keep everyone updated with options.  We will have Borgo Corsignano, the venue, all to ourselves, feel free to use all the amenities how you please!  Learn more details about the venue,borgo corsignano here

7-11 PM Welcome Dinner Pizza Party 

All guests are welcome!  This will be cocktail attire! It is a mix between a welcome party and a rehersal dinner.  We will be doing speeches, dancing, and having fun soaking up the fact that we are all in Tuscany together. Think Pizza Wine and Aperol Spritz. 

7 am - 5 Pm  Anything you want 

We hope we already wore you out with Florence and the welcome party so you sleep in and enjoy your day lazing around Tuscany. 

The wedding will be set away from the pool so feel free to soak up the sun and hang in the spa.  There will be yard games for people as well. For those interested we can arrange shuttles to go into Poppi, an adorable Tuscan town ten minutes away with a castle! It would be a great place to explore the morning and grab lunch before the wedding. You might even catch a peak of Colin and I taking wedding photos there. 

Breakfast and lunch will be on you but the houses all have kitchens so we can possibly get a small deposit for stocking the houses  but we can discuss more later! The goal is to keep this cheap for everyone so you can then go splurge the rest of the trip. 

4:30 pm - 2 am?? Brennan/Bussey Wedding EVENT

More info to come but probably should be back at the venue and wedding ready by around 4:30 PM . The wedding will likely be black tie encouraged but not strict,  think Formal Garden Party! If we're in Italy we might as well get fancy. We will keep you informed with more information. We have no limit to how late the party goes which worries me with some of you lol.  We will take the party inside around 12 so anyone can sneak off to bed whenever they choose. But knowing most of you were going all night and ending up in the pool. 

11 am- 4pm  Pool Party

Okay, we are for sure all tired by today.  Sleep in and start the day with a big brunch and pool party. 

There will be games, music, food, and soaking in the memories. 

4:30 Pm

We are also discussing organizing a cooking class and wine tasting for this evening if people are interested.  This will be an additional cost you can sign up for on this website when we know more.

Sunday June 23 Adventure On! 

Early Shuttles to get people to Trains or on to their next destinations. We can work with the venue to make sure everyone can get where they're going! I recommend taking the  Arrezo train to your next location. We will likely be doing the Arrezo to Naples(then a boat to almalfi or positano) They have direct routes, 3 hours, starting from 6:30am throughout the day to Naples. Then you can take a boat to Almalfi Sunday.  If you are done with italy for the time being there are also cheap non-stop flights to other countries. If anyone wants help planning, feel free to send me the cities and I can help you find the best routes and places! Even flying south to southern Italy's Scicly area would be amazing.
